Erik Alper has been a resident of Tampa since 2011. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Florida and then received his Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law. While at the University of Florida he interned with the State Attorney’s Office of the 8th Judicial Circuit.
After graduating from law school, Mr. Alper went onto work as a State Attorney in the 13th Judicial Circuit. He served in that role for 11 years. During his tenure at the State Attorney’s Office, he first chaired over 50 felony jury trials, and second chaired numerous others. He attained the title of Lead Trial Attorney, which had him working on mostly first-degree felonies including trafficking level drug offenses, violent crimes, and homicides.
Mr. Alper is a Senior Associate Attorney at the Bolin Law Group and has been with them for 3 years. His practice is focused mainly on Premises Liability. He is currently a member of the Florida Bar Association and the Florida Defense Lawyers Association.
