Eric Nelson was born and raised in Saint Petersburg, Florida. In 2020, he graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the Lutgert College of Business. During his time at FGCU, Mr. Nelson is most proud of his achievements in increasing philanthropic efforts of student organizations, particularly running a week-long philanthropy drive for the Wounded Veterans Relief Fund.
Mr. Nelson then graduated from Stetson University College of Law in Spring 2024, earning his Juris Doctor (JD) cum laude with a GPA of 3.50, placing him in the top 15% of his class. While obtaining his JD, Mr. Nelson obtained a Master of Business Administration, graduating summa cum laude with a 4.0 GPA and receiving Stetson University’s JD/MBA Highest Academic Achievement Award.
During his time at Stetson, Eric actively contributed to the Stetson Law Review and served on the Stetson Dispute Resolution Board. Eric also received two “book awards” for the highest academic achievement in a class, for Trial Advocacy and Antitrust, and was inducted into the Phi Delta Phi legal honor society and the Beta Gamma Sigma Business Honor Society. Mr. Nelson’s advocacy skills have been recognized through various competitions, including a first-place finish in the Southwestern National Negotiation Competition and a regional semi-finalist placement in the ABA National Arbitration Competition.
